Teamwork is Important to Us

Successful teamwork between parents and educators is important to us because it reflects on the child’s development.

Visiting Your Child’s Classroom

We invite parents to visit their child’s classroom and participate in some of their activities.  You may want to read a book at story time, share a talent or provide a cultural activity or hobby that goes with the weekly theme, or just help with an activity.  If you would like to be part of the classroom activity, please let the teacher know so they can plan accordingly.  Parents are also free to drop in unannounced. We encourage an open door policy.

If you wish to visit the classroom, announced or unannounced, we ask you to consider how your child will respond to you leaving after your visit without them.  Some children will understand that it is just a visit and others will be unsettled by the change in routine (you arriving but leaving without them).
